This week's Fatshion Faceoff is a maxi dress! I was really excited to style my maxi because I've only worn it a handful of times. I always feel awkward wearing it for some reason. I suppose I always feel too dressed up in it. I'm taken back to high school dances where floor length gowns are fancy, haha!

I just love this scarf! I picked it up from Target with some birthday money I received. It's sheer with some lace detailing so it's very light -- perfect for Spring/Summer! I ended up not wearing the scarf to work, opting for an open black cardigan instead. I work in an on campus library so I didn't want to be too revealing!
One thing I learned from this dress is that I need a new strapless bra desperately! Mine is too large in the band, and it does not fit well at all. Any suggestions?

Hey Molly, i really like the bag and belt you combined your dress with. Simple but exective! Really nice xxxx
ReplyDeleteI keep looking at tube dresses but never sure I could pull them off, but you look seriously gorgeous in this, I love the details in the accessorise! I am going to try a strapless deco bra from Freya next. x
ReplyDeleteI love that dress. I'm not brave enough for strapless clothes, but it looks great on you :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know i've nominated you for the versatile blogger award, as you're one of my favourite bloggers. http://polkaspotsandfreckledots.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/7-things-you-never-knew-about-me.html
Looks amazing on you! Very pretty dress. ^^d
ReplyDeleteLove your baggie too! MMxoxo
Oooohhhh pretty!!!! And your hair looks so beautiful!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Molly! :) I love how you paired black and brown. I really need to remember to do that more often! lol And for strapless bras, the convertible Cacique bras from Lane Bryant are my go-to choice. Of course, I waited to buy mine during the buy one get one bra sales when I could somewhat justify the cost. :)

I absolutely LOVE the way you've styled your maxi-dress! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteThis dress is made of super soft fabric and is like wearing fancy pajamas! It is really comfortable and flattering. The fabric clings just enough to see curves, but not enough to see flaws. I really love it!
