Thanksgiving in Denim

This outfit is from Thanksgiving day, last Thursday. I spent the holiday with Craig and his family. On Thursday, we had dinner with his extended family from his dad's side. He has a huge family! There were many people there who I did not know and others who I've only met occasionally. It was great to see everyone! The food was great too.

Funny story about the shirt I wore. A few weeks ago Craig's mom brought me a couple articles of clothing that we had left over at their place. She accidentally gave me one of his dad's shirts. I joked with Craig saying I was going to wear it so I tried it on. I actually liked it! I decided to wear it on Thanksgiving day. He told me I could have it. :)

On Friday we had a more casual Thanksgiving with Craig's mom's side of the family -- his mom, dad, sister, grandma, uncle, and two younger cousins. I decided to help with the baking so I made the garlic rolls and two pies.

It was my first time baking bread and only my second time baking pies. Surprisingly, everything I made turned out great! The pecan pie didn't have as much filling as I would have liked, but, aside from that, it was good. We also had a smoked turkey, asparagus, brussel sprouts with bacon, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, stuffing, a pumpkin roll, and a stuffed pumpkin! Everything was delicious.

Black Leatherette

I just bought this faux leather jacket from Target last weekend, and I'm in love! Today Craig and I hung out with his family and played board games. I wanted to wear something comfy so I opted for leggings.

Guh! So perfect. It's currently available in sizes 12 through 18 on their website. They used to have 20s so check your local Forever 21 if you need that size.
